Knack den Krebs

During my studies, I was part of a project team commissioned by the Fördergemeinschaft Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg e.V. to produce promotional videos for the organization. These spots were later showcased at the spotlight-Festival für Bewegtbildkommunikation in Stuttgart.

For this short film, I was responsible for post-production, which included editing, color grading, and a number of VFX shots that I created using Blender and After Effects.

In the final stages, I also composed an original score for the spot in Cubase.

Face Art

For this ambitious production, the director asked me to compose a piece of music as well. She was looking for something in the style of Interstellar. I then combined all these photos into a time-lapse sequence during post-production.

„Krebs am Bein“

The Latin term Cancer means crab, so we drew heavy inspiration from the organization’s logo (a pink crab) and used the animal symbolically. Editing this spot itself was relatively straightforward. Afterward, I recorded a small musical piece featuring piano and guitar.

Some time later, the client called me again and asked if I could edit a reel from some phone footage that was made when putting up advertisement on their building.

Friends’ Association

For 50 years, the association has been helping patients to stay strong in their fight against cancer, supporting families during this difficult time in their lives and promoting science through its research institute.
